Ambassador Program

Orangatang has been hatched, poured, and pushed by a community of riders since 2008. The standouts become Ambassadors. This is how that happens.

The Ambassador Program

Rider support at Orangatang runs through one program: the Ambassador Program. It isn't just a title, it's a partnership. Ambassadors ride with our full support and play an active role in shaping where the wheels go next: early access to prototype urethane, a direct line into product development, and consideration for paid collaborations, event support, and travel. You keep doing what you already do, which is get people rolling, and we back you while you do it.

What we're looking for

We're not looking for the fastest person on the hill (though hello, fast person). We're looking for riders who make their local scene better: the one organizing the Sunday group roll, the one teaching a newcomer to hold a slide, the one whose videos make people want to go outside. Racers, freeriders, dancers, distance pushers, commuters with opinions. If your riding gets people rolling, we want to hear from you.

A few things that help your case:

  • You ride a lot, and you ride Orangatang (or would like to)
  • You're active in your local longboarding community, online or on pavement
  • You make content, run events, or otherwise spread the good word without being asked
  • You're kind to beginners and small mammals

How to apply

Fill out the application below. Tell us who you are, where and how you ride, what you're working on, and where we can see it. Support scales with involvement, so most Ambassadors start with product (wheels, bushings, stickers) and grow from there. We read every submission and reply, even when the answer is "not yet."
